“ Quick and friendly service. Amazing food - great flavours and quantity for the price. Would recommend trying it out ”
“ Absolutely delicious !!!! All freshly cooked food with fresh seasonal vegetables. Steak cooked as requested and that red wine gravy was so yummy. We WILL be back. ”
“ Food was lovely. We had the dumplings, chicken poke, beef cheek and garlic bread. Everything was delicious and well priced. A couple of small faults; we had to ask twice for water, it would have been nice to have side plates with our garlic bread and the avocado on the poke bowl felt like it was frozen and honestly it would have been absolutely fine without it. The dumplings were huge and flavours delicious, poke bowl was great and you really can’t go wrong, beef cheek delicious and the sauce amazing, and again the garlic bread you just can’t go wrong. The atmosphere was lovely and friendly. We will be back with more room in our stomach for dessert. ”
“ Had the most AMAZING massaman curry last night while out with my family. Perfectly balanced flavours, generous portions, amazing service. Thank you! Personal favourites from the table were also the arancini balls, mothers butter burger, and the three cheese lasagne. I’ve never had bad food from here! ”
“ I can only rate to date one dish but a review is necessary. Having just moved to the area we decided to try the lamb cutlet massamum curry. It is to die for. Served on a bed of mashed potatoes and surrounded by a beautiful and rich massaman. On top was the cutlets which were cooked to perfection. We opted to have it served with coconut rice and that created a perfect balance. 100% recommend this dish. ”
“ We started with beer at the Tavern next door, and as soon as a table was ready we were seated in a spacious comfortable dining area. I had the steak and wife had the pasta, and we finished with a ice-cream on waffle. Lovely family style restaurant ”
“ Went with a group of 17. My wife and I had the tempura prawns and wontons. The prawns were very tasty but they were in a beer batter. Didn’t enjoy the fried wontons. Others had steak, pizza, spaghetti and hamburgers. No complaints from anyone. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. ”
“ This tucked away gem in Ruakaka is worth earmaking for your next trip up North .. The food was absolutely delicious, and clearly popular, the tables were very busy - great, warm, friendly atmosphere and excellent, professional staff .. highly reccommend! ”
